Mr. Saul Bronfeld opens this volume by providing an historic perspective and discussing IDF’s lesson-learning habits on defense doctrine development. Ms. Dana Preisler-Swery provides a systemic analysis of the implications of the Iron Dome system. Brigadier General Shachar Shohat and Mr. Yaniv Friedman offer an exhaustive historic overview of the development of air defense systems, noting challenges and opportunities for the future. Lt.
