Cyber Superiority

ABSTRACT: The IDF must take the offensive in cyberspace. Despite its technological abilities and the human capital it commands in the cyber field, the IDF has not as yet acquired operational advantages relative to the challenges posed by the 'armies of terror', Hamas and Hezbollah, of counter-fire and disappearance. The IDF also hasn't made use of its cyber advantages to preserve and expand its military freedom of action in other domains of warfare. The IDF must develop new operational concepts and organizational structures for cyberwarfare, which will deliver operational effectiveness in the cyber domain, for intelligence collection, defense, attack and a continuously growing edge over its adversaries. Only thus can the IDF preserve its superiority in the domain.
