A short while ago, a report was received regarding a shooting attack near the town of Bet El. IDF soldiers conducting routine counterterrorism activity adjacent to the town responded with live fire and neutralized the assailant.

IDF soldiers are searching in the area for additional suspects. During the searches, a number of bullet casings were found near the assailant.

An Israeli civilian was injured due to gunshot fragments and evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
