Earlier this morning in a joint IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police activity, the forces operated in the town of Shufa adjacent to the city of Tulkarm.

The wanted suspect Amir Khadijah was located as a result of precise ISA intelligence. The suspect was involved in a number of shooting attacks on Israeli communities and security forces. The Israel Border Police operated to surround the apartment in the town where the suspect was hiding.

During the arrival of the forces and surrounding of the building, the wanted suspect drew a gun within the apartment at the forces, who responded with live fire. A hit was identified.

Furthermore, during the activity, his main assistant was apprehended and transferred to the security forces for further questioning. Additionally, the weapons, an M-16 rifle, and vehicle used by the wanted suspect to carry out terrorist activities were confiscated and transferred to the ISA for further processing.

No IDF injuries were reported.
