IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police Forces Conducted Counterterrorism Activities in Judea and Samaria, and Apprehended Three Wanted Suspects

The security forces operated in the town of Jaba and neutralized a terror squad who are suspected in carrying out multiple shooting attacks in the town, and adjacent to the community of Homesh

Overnight, IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the town of Duma.

Israel police forces and IDF soldiers operated in the town of Jaba following ISA intelligence information in order to apprehend several terror suspects.

During the activity, with the force’s arrival at the compound in which the terror squad were hiding, shots were fired from a vehicle at the soldiers, who responded with live fire.

Two Islamic Jihad terrorist organization operatives from the town of Jaba were neutralized at the scene together with an additional armed suspect.
The forces confiscated two rifles, a gun, and several explosive devices, three additional suspects were apprehended.

While ending the activity the forces shot a suspect who opened fire at them. A hit was identified.
An IDF UAV was shot down while operating in the town, the incident is under review.
There is no risk of breach of information.

As the forces operated in the towns od Silat A Dahr, Al Yamun, and Zeita, three terror suspects were apprehended, in the town of Silat At Hartia an additional suspect was apprehended. As the forces were leaving the town they fired at a suspect who was shooting at them.

In the towns of Sebastia and Jit the forces apprehended two suspects, in the Town of Beitut the forces apprehended an additional suspect. Several suspects hurled rocks at the forces, which responded by firing into the air.

The forces additionally operated in the towns of Rantis and Ein Arik in order to apprehend two suspects.

The forces apprehended two additional suspects in the city of Hebron and in the town of Mizra A Sharkia they apprehended an additional suspect.

The suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning.
No IDF injuries were reported.
