IDF, ISA and Israel Police Forces Conducted Counterterrorism Activities in Judea and Samaria
Overnight, IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Huwara, Kadum, Baqa and and Haje.
The soldiers operated in the town of Brukim and apprehended four individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activity. In addition, a hunting rifle along with military equipment were confiscated.
During the activity massive fire was fired at the soldiers and explosive devices were hurled. Damage was caused to vehicles.
During the activity in the Qalandiya Camp one suspect was apprehended and two hunting rifles, a handgun, gun parts and ammunition were confiscated.
Rocks and an explosive device were hurled at the soldiers, who responded with riot dispersal means. The soldiers apprehended two suspects in the town of Kafr 'Aqab and confiscated ammunition additional to an airsoft gun.
Furthermore, during the activity in the city of Hebron, the soldiers apprehended a suspect and confiscated gun parts. The soldiers also operated in the town of Al-Pwar in order to apprehend an additional suspect.
In addition, during activity in the city of Nablus, rocks, explosive devices, and Molotov cocktails were hurled at the soldiers, who responded with live fire toward an armed suspect who fired at them. A hit was identified.
The suspects were transferred to security forces for further questioning.
No IDF injuries were reported.
