IDF, ISA and Israel Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in Judea and Samaria

Overnight, IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police forces conducted counterterrorism activities in a number of locations in Judea and Samaria, including in the towns of Azun Atme, Khirbat Karme, Bayt Kahil and Silwad.

The forces operated in the Qalandiya camp, apprehended two wanted individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activity and located ammunition. During the activity, suspects hurled rocks at the forces who responded with riot dispersal means. During the activity in the towns of Yabrud and Kafr 'Aqab, the forces apprehended three additional wanted suspects.

During the activity in the Balata camp, the forces apprehended two wanted suspects. During the activity, armed suspects fired towards the soldiers, who responded with live fire. Hits were identified

Furthermore, the forces operated in the city of Jenin and apprehended an additional wanted individual suspected of involvement in terrorist activity. During the activity, gunshots were heard in the area. Additionally, the forces operated in the towns of Faqqua and Nur Shams and apprehended two wanted suspects.

In addition, during the activity in the town of Bayt Rima, a number of suspects hurled Molotov Cocktails and rocks at the forces, who responded with riot dispersal means. In parallel, during the activity in the town of Deir Abu Masha'al, the forces apprehended a wanted individual suspected of involvement in terrorist activity.

The forces also operated in the towns of Yata and Khirbat Karme and apprehended two wanted suspects. During the activity in the town of Beit Ummar, the forces apprehended an additional wanted suspect.

During the activity in the town of Wadi Al Far'a, the forces located a gun, a M-16 rifle and ammunition. During the activity, a number of suspects hurled rocks at the forces who responded with riot dispersal means.

The suspects were transferred to security forces for further processing.
No IDF injuries were reported.
