1,394 truckloads of goods were imported last week, including 572 truckloads of construction materials
A total of 39,518 tons of goods – 1,394 truckloads – entered the Gaza Strip from Israel through the Kerem Shalom land crossing last week (February 10 to 16). The imports included 572 truckloads of construction materials.
Additionally, Israel provided 125 megawatts of electricity a day to the Gaza Strip throughout the week.
Also last week, 32 truckloads of goods were exported from the Gaza Strip for sale in foreign markets. The goods – including more than 20 tons of fresh produce, as well as plane trees and flowers – were first transferred to Israel via the Kerem Shalom crossing and then shipped abroad.
Since January 1, a total of 235,797 tons of imports have entered Gaza via the Kerem Shalom crossing.
