The second-highest ranking officer in the U.S. Armed Forces spent two days in Israel, as a guest of the IDF's Deputy Chief of Staff

The United States Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. (****) James A. Winnefeld, departed Israel today after completing a two-day visit. Adm. Winnefeld was the guest of the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the IDF, Maj. Gen. Yair Naveh.
As Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Adm. Winnefeld is the second-highest ranking officer of the United States Armed Forces.
During the course of his visit, Adm. Winnefeld met with a number of senior IDF officials, including Chief of the General Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz. He also visited a number of key military cooperation sites across the country.
