An IDF soldier was critically injured by a tank this morning (Monday, August 27). The incident took place during an integrated exercise of infantry and armored forces in the Golan Heights. The soldier received primary medical care on the spot and was transferred to Haifa's Rambam Hospital for continuing care.
His family has been notified.
Following the incident, all training exercises in the Golan Heights were suspended, pending an initial investigation.
