Regional Hamas leaders used the wide structure for terror activity. Among arrested terrorists, 2 participated in brutal slaughter of IDF reservists in Ramallah in 2000
Israeli Security Agency (ISA) along with the IDF and the Israeli Police exposed a Hamas terror infrastructure last June, according to a press release published today (Thursday, August 9). Headed by regional Hamas leaders, the wide infrastructure was active in the Ramallah region.
Among the arrested terrorists, two confessed to have participated in the lynch that took place at a Palestinian police station in Ramallah on October 12, 2000. During the lynch two IDF reservists, Cpl. Vadim Norzitz and Staff Sgt. Yossi Avrahami, were brutally slaughtered after they lost their way in the outskirts of Ramallah.
Last August, indictments were filed at the Judea military court against the two terrorists, Maruan Abrahim Ma'adi (51) and Yasser Abrahim Muhmad Hata'ab (40). Both Ramallah residents were accused of intentional slaughter. ISA stresses that the arrest of the two terrorists on account of their involvement in the lynch that took place in 2000, indicates that once again and even after 12 years, Israeli security forces operate to capture those involved in the attack.
