As a gesture of goodwill for the Islamic holiday of Ramadan, the Civil Administration, in coordination with the IDF's Central Command, has decided to open the north entrance road to the city of Jericho. The opening has been made possible due to the calm security situation in the area.

The entrance, located on the northeast side of the city, connects the city to a major highway. By enabling more direct travel, its opening will help merchants arriving from Jenin and Nablus to save time and money.

Additionally, the newly opened road is expected to encourage more drivers to enter the city, thus stimulating local businesses.

The head of the Jericho District Coordinating Liaison's office has personally informed the Palestinian population, which welcomed the news.
