On Sunday (June 26), the IDF began work on moving the route of the security fence near the West Bank village of Bil'in, in accordance with a decision of Israel's High Court of Justice.

The route of the new fence increases the amount of territory belonging to Palestinians in the area.

Significant resources (an estimated 26 million shekels) have been invested in the project.

The project includes the removal of the previous security fence and the construction of a new one.

Five million shekels have been allocated for restoring lands adjacent to the previous security fence for agricultural use.

As part of the project, the IDF has relocated and replanted dozens of Palestinian olive trees in order to protect them during the work.
